“Susanna cared for my wife as part of a team of carers looking after her 24/7 during the last six months of her struggle with motor neuron disease. Complex care skills were required including tracheostomy ventilation, PEG nutrition and medication. She worked as a live-in carer and so was staying in our house for five days of each week.
